Operation7 - Weapon Customization new gameplay for FPS games

Personally, I'm not into FPS games. Basic reason is that I sucked at shooting games. But I've seen some kids playing OP7(Operation7) in one of my favorite internet cafes. They're sorta like customizing their weapons to whatever they like. From functionality to appearance. And not only weapons, you can also customize your gears, suits and your looks.

It's quite intriguing, so I decided to download the game and started playing. As I expected, I'm always at the bottom of the rankings or standings in the game. Usual scores would be 3 kills, 11 deaths. What? Really pathetic isn't it? Ha! Ha! Ha! But bottomline, I'm enjoying the game and be playing this 'til I'm fed up and find other games that would catch my attention. It's nice to have some short breaks with all my MMORPG gaming time.

OP7 is free to play with it's Philippine Server. But you have to buy e-points if you want to buy stronger items, weapons and gears at a lower level. Of course, you still have the option not to load-up your e-points and just accumulate game golds for your gears and weapons. All you need to do is keep on playing. The more you play the more gold you accumulate, and you gain more experience for you to level up and use stronger weapons and gears. Obviously, stronger items have level requirements. So you have to play to get the level requirements for the item that you're aiming for.

Keep playing gamers! ENJOY!

An Open Letter to Mdm Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, President of the Philippines --Repost from Definitely Filipinos

An Open Letter to Mdm Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, President of the Philippines

Dear Madame President:

As many Filipinos recently celebrated the triumphant victories of Manny Pacquiao and Efren Penaflorida, highlighting Filipino resolve and dedication in the international arena, it is so disheartening and shocking -- frustrating to say the least – to learn about the events that unfolded in Maguindanao. Under no circumstances that 57 innocent people, or possibly even more, have to die needlessly that can ever be humanly justified.

As president of the Philippines, we now turn to you for leadership. As you can see, or perhaps feel, the people DEMAND action: decisive, rapid, relentless, fair, and appropriate.

However, the last thing the people want is to see further escalation of violence causing more hardship, spilled blood, and more children orphaned. To ease restlessness and tension, not only in Maguindanao, but to worldwide Filipinos, we feel that at the minimum, the following actions MUST be taken without delay:

1. Immediate action in delivering justice.
2. Conduct an impartial and thorough investigation.
3. Arrest suspects without delay.
4. Place suspects on the "No Fly" list.
5. Restoration of peace and order.
6. Relieve military and police commanders in the area -- immediately.
7. The disbandment of all para-military, and private armies in the area, and the entire country.
8. Hold everyone accountable in the line of command responsibility. No exceptions.

Furthermore, those who are directly involved must be punished to the fullest extent the laws of the land will allow.

Mrs. President, you are the leader of the land, we respect the position and rightfully so. But it’s time to STOP the talking, and do more of the walking! Action is demanded. It's time for INTEGRITY to be the preeminent rule in political service.

Yours truly,

The Administrators and Members of Definitely Filipino

Drought Dead

Its been 3 or 4 years that my blog was inactive like dead. No time to write a post. No computer to use. But I'm full of ideas that I really wanted to write on a blog. Just dont have much time and resources...

But now? I got all the time in the world. I got a PC in my bedroom, ready for all the flow of ideas. Sad thing is, it's not flowing anymore. I'm literally squeezing it just to make a single post in 2 or 3 days...

How sad.

Cafe World - new craze in Facebook

As one of my friends would say, "all my friends are either farmers or gangsters on facebook!" That was then when Facebook users get hooked on Mafia Wars, FarmVille and FarmTown. But this time we have Cafe World, which you'll be managing a small cafe and strive to make it into a big and fabulous restaurant. So, I would say "my friends were all gangsters, farmers and restaurateurs!"

Long before Cafe World was released. RestaurantCity is already a popular application on facebook. I got hooked to it myself, but not as popular as the Cafe World today. You might say that Cafe World will just be some copycat to RestaurantCity, but Cafe World has a lot of features that restaurant-game lovers can appreciate. You can feel that you're managing your cafe firsthand. You're the one cooking or preparing the foods. Better graphics than RestaurantCity.

I'm still playing RestaurantCity though. Both games has unique gameplays and I don't want to miss that. So, if you haven't played any of these games yet! Better log on to your Facebook accounts and start creating your cafes now!

Manny Pacquiao's win against Cotto

Pacquiao VS Cotto(Picture courtesy of ESPN)
For sure, there are thousands of blogs having this same topic. I'm actually thinking of not posting this here, but can't help it. I really have to. Ha ha ha! After the fight, I've watch videos on Youtube trying to see those highlights from the fight and really can't get enough of it.

Well, Filipinos around the world were in some sort of festive mode following that very exciting fight. Prior to the fight there are a lot of speculations, questions and comments on how Manny will handle this fight. Some say Cotto is too big and too strong for Manny and wondering if he can handle Cotto's punches. Well, Manny prove and answers all questions. As you can see on the fight, there are instances that Manny intentionally let Cotto lands some solid punches on him. And he simply absorbs all those punches. He even maintained a clean and nearly untouched-looking face, while Cotto's on the contrary.

Manny is simply the fastest boxer in the world. Miguel Cotto surely can handle Manny Pacquiao's punches, but not those many punches. As per Oscar Dela Hoya said "you were like fighting against so many boxers all at once".

2012 Movie and the Planet X-Nibiru

Have you heard about the Planet X? Or the Nibiru? We'll there are a lot of news, articles and videos about this controversy today. Planet X is believed to be the planet mentioned in the early writings of the Sumerian civilization called Nibiru. According to the Sumerian myth, Nibiru is a giant planet which approach or collide with the Earth every 3600 years, and allows its sentient inhabitants to interact with humanity. And these beings are the Annunaki, who would become humanity's first gods.

Also in the Mayan civilization, there is a planet mentioned to approach the Earth every 3600 years. Which will make climatic changes in the Earth's atmosphere. Mayan calendar indicates that the exact date is December 21, 2012. This is what the movie by Sony Pictures 2012 is all about. It depicts the end of the world in that year.

Planet X is already visible at night and is referred to as the red star.

There are a lot of videos and articles that explains about the Planet X/Nibiru-end-of-the-world story. I recommend searching YouTube for videos and Wikipedia for articles.

Back to Blogging

So here we go! It's been what? 3 or 4 years now that I haven't blogged anything? Been busy with work, business, etc, etc.

Well, this blog would pretty much like the old one: Earl Thad's Cubicle. One thing for sure, I'll be more active in blogging this time... hopefully yes! Ha ha ha! And what would be the things that you'll be expecting around here? Pretty much the same. Everything under the sun... in light humor. Life's boring, so as much as possible we'd like to make it more fun than usual. I'm not good at making people laugh, but I'm trying.

We'll be talking about a lot of things here. From games, gadgets, movies, music, websites, jobs to money-making opportunities on the web and a lot more.
