Manny Pacquiao VS Floyd Mayweather

I dont feel like commenting on this topic because for sure I will be brutally bias. But for the last couple of weeks that I've been following on all the developments and reports about this sorta "EPIC" match between the two powerful fighters, I've heard, read a lot of comments. Of course, either from boxing experts, and/or down to the very fans. But now, Mayweather Sr. once again giving the public his always-proven-wrong predictions about Manny Pacquiao's fights. "My son's too much for Pacquiao." lol! This guy's a joker! He's always been...

For the record, we already know that Mayweather's too afraid to lose that zero-lose record of his. That's why he's been avoiding to fight bigger guys like Mosley, Cotto and other welterweights. And now, with Manny he's been trying to inject this profit sharing BS. I'm sure he's been recieving lots of pressure that's why he agreed on fighting against Manny. The world is asking for it. I hope this is final. This is gonna be exciting!

Wild Ones - New game application on Facebook

As I'm doing the normal stuff on Facebook today, I've stumble upon this new game. I thought it's some kinda virtual-pet-game genre that is very common on Facebook. Actually the game has just started. Perhaps it was just launched today(not sure though), and it's still on its alpha-testing phase. Once again, I've lived up to my reputation as a beta-tester... lol! And it's even on alpha-phase.

The whole concept of the game is more like Gunbound. If you gamer people still remember that game. Gunbound is an online turn-based shooting game. You'll be battling on a 2D map, either by teams or free-for-all game. Last player/team standing will be the winner.

And this is the concept of the game Wild Ones. It's a Facebook-based game. Same as with Gunbound, it's in a 2D environment. The whole game is still on it's development stage so we can expect a little more twist and improvement as the game progresses.

I really like the gaming concept of this game. And since it's Facebook-based, you'll have the opportunity to brag any of your achievements in the game. Cool huh?

Operation7 - Weapon Customization new gameplay for FPS games

Personally, I'm not into FPS games. Basic reason is that I sucked at shooting games. But I've seen some kids playing OP7(Operation7) in one of my favorite internet cafes. They're sorta like customizing their weapons to whatever they like. From functionality to appearance. And not only weapons, you can also customize your gears, suits and your looks.

It's quite intriguing, so I decided to download the game and started playing. As I expected, I'm always at the bottom of the rankings or standings in the game. Usual scores would be 3 kills, 11 deaths. What? Really pathetic isn't it? Ha! Ha! Ha! But bottomline, I'm enjoying the game and be playing this 'til I'm fed up and find other games that would catch my attention. It's nice to have some short breaks with all my MMORPG gaming time.

OP7 is free to play with it's Philippine Server. But you have to buy e-points if you want to buy stronger items, weapons and gears at a lower level. Of course, you still have the option not to load-up your e-points and just accumulate game golds for your gears and weapons. All you need to do is keep on playing. The more you play the more gold you accumulate, and you gain more experience for you to level up and use stronger weapons and gears. Obviously, stronger items have level requirements. So you have to play to get the level requirements for the item that you're aiming for.

Keep playing gamers! ENJOY!

An Open Letter to Mdm Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, President of the Philippines --Repost from Definitely Filipinos

An Open Letter to Mdm Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, President of the Philippines

Dear Madame President:

As many Filipinos recently celebrated the triumphant victories of Manny Pacquiao and Efren Penaflorida, highlighting Filipino resolve and dedication in the international arena, it is so disheartening and shocking -- frustrating to say the least – to learn about the events that unfolded in Maguindanao. Under no circumstances that 57 innocent people, or possibly even more, have to die needlessly that can ever be humanly justified.

As president of the Philippines, we now turn to you for leadership. As you can see, or perhaps feel, the people DEMAND action: decisive, rapid, relentless, fair, and appropriate.

However, the last thing the people want is to see further escalation of violence causing more hardship, spilled blood, and more children orphaned. To ease restlessness and tension, not only in Maguindanao, but to worldwide Filipinos, we feel that at the minimum, the following actions MUST be taken without delay:

1. Immediate action in delivering justice.
2. Conduct an impartial and thorough investigation.
3. Arrest suspects without delay.
4. Place suspects on the "No Fly" list.
5. Restoration of peace and order.
6. Relieve military and police commanders in the area -- immediately.
7. The disbandment of all para-military, and private armies in the area, and the entire country.
8. Hold everyone accountable in the line of command responsibility. No exceptions.

Furthermore, those who are directly involved must be punished to the fullest extent the laws of the land will allow.

Mrs. President, you are the leader of the land, we respect the position and rightfully so. But it’s time to STOP the talking, and do more of the walking! Action is demanded. It's time for INTEGRITY to be the preeminent rule in political service.

Yours truly,

The Administrators and Members of Definitely Filipino
